Early voting for the May 1st election has had 45 in person voters so far in Caddo parish. Voting will continue througnSaturday, April 24th from 8:30 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. each day at the Caddo Parish Registrar of Voters office, 525 Marshall, Suite 103 in downtown Shreveport across from the Court House. Voters should bring proof of identity such as a drivers license, voters i.d. card or governmental i.d.
All registered voters in Caddo Parish are eligible to vote on the parish propositions and rural voters in Ward 3 can vote on the special election for Justice of the Peace.
The breakdown on the voters through Tuesday show 17 Democrats, 25 Republicans and 3 other parties. 41 voters are white, 3 voters are black and 1 other race voter has voted. 29 males have voted along with 16 females.
