ADVICE to CANDIDATES in the Fall Elections…
1) Qualifying information and questions, call the Clerk of Court in Caddo parish at 226-6788 for dates, times, and fees.
2) Check your current voter registration information at caddovoter.org. Just click on “Am I Registered?” and make sure that your address, party, and district info is what you think it should be. The new Shreveport City Council districts and School Board districts have been updated.
3) Plan on qualifying on one of the first two days of qualifying. In case you do have a problem then, you can get the problem solved before qualifying ends; however, if you check your info now or call the Registrar’s office at 226-6891 for your current address, part,y and district info then, you should not have a problem.
